Well it was a great and intense moment to have you for some minutes with us together sharing what we’re both fond of. As you could have remarked we were very impressed by the way you ‘play’ (if I can say) with the tones of your voice.
Furthermore what has impressed us was the variation in your voice and the way you do to make it a honey and harmonious melody for our ears. I must say that it would be nice again to have a person like you who knows a wide range on different way of singing and a personal touch to embellish the whole thing.
We have mostly liked the way you communicate with your audience. We have also remarked that for you it is a prime factor to have the sense of touching certainly not morally as every and each singer does but for you it is important to have an appeal with your audience and this is done by the sense of touching physically. It was quite a short moment but let us tell you that it was amazing and marvelous thing to have you, to benefit from each tiny minute and most important of all to learn from people like you.

Note: The German, world-wide known bass-baritone Michael Schopper has built himself a reputation during concerts and tours in all of Europe, South and North America, Israel and Japan; his varied activities include numerous concerts around the globe (under the batons of Karl Richter and Fritz Reiner), television broadcasts and many recordings for major labels. He is in Mauritius to play Nourabad in les 'Pecheurs de Perles" for Mauritius Opera'09.
His repertory encompasses virtually the entire song production of the European Baroque and Romantic eras, a large number of operatic roles, and the entire oratorio literature from the Baroque to contemporary music.
Michael Schopper taught at the University of music and performing arts in Munic and at the Academy for Early Music in Brixen/Bressanone. Subsequently he was appointed professor of voice and historical performance at the University of Music in Frankfurt am Main.
